How do I book?

First, make sure you’re a DCMF member! Scroll to the bottom of this page and choose wether you’re booking the space for a Rehearsal or a Recording Session. Then, you’ll be able to see when the studio is available and you can decide when works best for you. Once you make your selection, you’ll be taken to a page where you can pay via Credit Card and then voíla! Booking made! You will then receive a follow up email from us with more details about entry and expectations.

What does it cost to use the studio?

$10 per hour plus GST (5%).

What’s included in my booking?

Rehearsals: performance equipment, limited instruments, live room, lounge area
Recording Sessions: recording equipment, limited instruments, control room and live room, lounge area

What do I do when I arrive?

Details about arrival and entry can be found in your booking confirmation email.

What are the expectations for proper care + use of the studio?

To use the DCMF studio, you must be able to use the space independently, as there will not be a studio tech at your service. We expect that any equipment that gets used gets put back where it was originally found. Please keep the space clean (i.e. dirty boots taken off, no food or drink outside the lounge area) and tidy up after yourself so the next person in the space can have a clean, easily navigable experience just like you.

Will there be someone there to set up or run equipment for me?

As of now, you are responsible for being self-sufficient and knowing how to use the equipment on your own. But stayed tuned- there’s more about studio assistance to come in the future!
